Changing Driver Demographics Boosts Industry Scope
This month's issue of Boating Industry Canada magazine features a great article on the new 'Spark' Sea-Doo from BRP, which offers a powerful PWC to consumers at a great entry price. While out on the water over the past couple of weeks I have noticed many PWC's cruising, towing, joy riding etc. The surprising part of this observation is that the majority of the drivers were women. While we talk regularly about expanding the scope of the boating public and industry in general, maybe BRP has hit the nail on the head by just introducing a machine that is powerful, sexy and user friendly.
