The official safe boating week across North America is May 16-22 this year. However we'll be placing an emphasis on safe boating all month, with different articles including cold water awareness, safety equipment preparation, CPS boating courses and more. As an industry professional you have a unique opportunity to pass along your safety knowledge to clients and friends. If you have any safety tips you have found particularly useful and would like to share please send them to us and we'll pass them along to our readers. Also next week Georgian College is offering a terrific Expo on Marine Trades training that is available in a state-of-the-art, hands-on facility. Sign up for this free event aimed at strengthing the marine technician workforce across Canada. Happy Reading.
