Safety First

While our attention is always on the water, this week we would be remiss not to pay homage to the Albertans who are displaced by the Fort McMurray fire, which is still growing and as of yesterday was in excess of 161,197 hectares in size. Our thoughts go out to all of the people who are losing homes and businesses and to the fire fighters from across our nation who are working to control the massive blaze. This week's issue of BICN begins with a focus on safety, specifically in cold water as the 2016 boating season begins.
