Invest now for the Future
I draw your attention to the ABYC Electrical Certification course that Georgian College, with support from Boating Ontario, is putting on starting March 16. You can see more details below in the Education section story.
Increasingly, our future will be written on printed circuit boards not dog-eared, grease stained shop manuals. Just like the car business, all sorts of digital technologies are now running our engines, driving the switching and navigation systems and as of last week, docking the boat for us.
The new Assistive Docking technologies that Mercury Marine and Raymarine showed on February 1st at Lake X were an impressive start to automated docking. I think you would agree, the boating public will embrace these great advances with enthusiasm.
My point is to invest in your people by sending them to training opportunities like this ABYC Electrical Certification course. It's an opportunity to get some critically important background knowledge to position your people to better understand and manage future technologies.
Register today.
