Happy Thanksgiving, Canada!
We are definitely into Fall boating season and while the weather has been off and on (all season in fact) there is still some boating time left before we need to pack it in. Hot Autumn days don't translate to warm water so please remember your cold water safety rules (our tips from May apply in October also). Our editor Andy Adams had to bundle up for his test drive of Yamaha's latest WaveRunners this month and if you are heading out over the long weekend make sure you and your passengers are aware and prepared. Be safe out there and enjoy the beautiful Canadian Thanksgiving weekend!

At the Beneteau dealer meetings held at the US Sail show on Annapolis, Blanche Morgan on Anchor Yacht Sales of Port Credit Ontario was presented with both The Top Gun Award for highest sales volume for Beneteau Yachts in North America but also the top sales person for the sales of boats under 40 feet.

2014 NP Yacht Owners Rendezvous
The 2014 NP Yacht Owners Rendezvous at Telegraph Harbour Marina last week was a huge success, attended by 24 boats and 55 people. Everyone enjoyed the great food, music and Mexican theme. A good time was had by all and the weather cooperated despite a few downpours on the last day. Educational and round-table sessions for both women and men were well attended. Many thanks to Malcolm Ellison of Lightship Mobile Marine for his entertaining and informative sessions, stories and laughs.
