CY magazine has launched its YouTube channel ready for you to view, share and comment on. With the increasing prevalence of video as everyday web content we find that videos of all kinds, professional, amateur, business and personal are being created in order to illustrate a particular product or point of view. Our collection is growing daily and if you have something you would like to see added to the channel in terms of content we always welcome your suggestions. If you want to see the latest as they are uploaded just click the Subscribe link on the channel and you'll be in the loop. There is a lot of news this issue so happy reading!

Dugger first sailed in Cape Breton Island where he raced his Snipe. A wooden Tancook schooner called "Jeto" was his first yacht and she was followed by many more yachts named after the tall ships built by his forefathers in Maitland, Nova Scotia; Trust , Tryst, and Snow Queen.

Marblehead to Halifax Race 2015. Email from Feb 13
The co-chair of the 2015 edition of the Marblehead to Halifax Ocean Race, David Stanfield likes to call this ocean race "the Grand-daddy of them all". Stanfield is referring to the fact that MHOR goes all the way back to 1905, a year before the Newport Bermuda Race started and several decades before races like the Fastnet or Sydney-Hobart were conceived.

World Sailing Championships in Kingston This Summer
Over 2000 sailors representing 60 countries are set to race from Portsmouth Olympic Harbour on Lake Ontario in 2015. CORK is hosting the Laser Standard Men's World Championships (June 29-July 8), the Laser Masters World Championships (July 10-18), and the Laser Radial Youth World Championships (August 14-20).

Coast Guard Vessel Leonard J. Cowley Receives Vessel Life Extension Funding
The Honourable Gail Shea, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, and the Honourable Diane Finley, Minister of Public Works and Government Services, has announced that the Government of Canada has awarded an $8.5 million contract to NEWDOCK St. John's Dockyard Limited for Vessel Life Extension (VLE) and refit work for Canadian Coast Guard ship CCGS Leonard J.
