Tell your friends and dock mates
It's about time we explained a few things. This emailed newsletter - CY Onboard (CYOB) is brought to you by the fine folks at Canadian Yachting magazine, Canada's leading print publication in the boating field.
Of course print is no longer the only way to distribute information, not by a long shot (although printed magazines have some very special properties that I'll get into in a sec.) So, CY Onboard started and now is the most prominent online source in the country. There are other international sources you can find, like Sailing Anarchy, but we are produced here with almost completely Canadian content.
We are constantly working to expand our coverage. CYOB has reporters on both coasts and all over the middle of this expansive nation, plus we are in touch with boaters everywhere to get input.
Canadian Yachting - the magazine - is still your authoritative source with high quality photos and longer, researched articles. The perfect armchair or dockside read for each of you.
CYOB is different. Online, fun, newsy, perhaps a bit chaotic reflecting the big and varied world of boating in Canada. Power boats, sailing, racing, news, ports of call, Canadians here and there…the list goes on. Since we publish every two weeks so our stuff is fresh.
Perhaps best of all, because we're online, we are FREE! Yes friends no charge. So if you have boater buddies who would enjoy a fresh edition delivered to their email, TELL them. Just go to this link: http://subscription.canadianyachting.ca/?page=newsletter
And the price is definitely right! Free.
Let me know how they like it.
