No more pencils, no more books
It's the end of June, the kids are getting out of school, and it's vacation time. On the boat, or on some boat!! But here at home please.
This is the year to spend your time and money in Canada. Visit a regatta, cruise to a near or distant destination. The Trent is free on Canada Day, Chester Race Week rocks and the BC Island waters are the best cruising in the world. Go to a summer boat show or antique boat event. There are charters available (including new power cruisers on the Rideau) and lots of hospitality all over the place. Have a look at our CY Calendar for just some of the dates and places.
We don't have to discuss why we are staying in our own country (and at the pace things are unfolding there may be brand new reasons by the time you read this.) Make it a staycation, work on your boat, expand your racing and cruising schedule and stay on this side of the lake. Have an all-Canadian summer.
