Help Stop Invasive Species
As the weather warms up across the country the threat of the spread of invasive species, both on land and in our waterways, becomes more noticeable. Please encourage your family & friends to learn about these threats in your local area and to prevent their growth. One easy way to make sure a boat isn't a carrier as it moves from one body of water to another is to power wash the hull and prop if you are trailering out of one area and planning to launch into another. Boats are the fastest and most common way that invasive mussels are spread throughout waterways, read more and download the guide to share. If you have noticed any new invasive species in your area please let us know so that we can help get the word out. Happy Reading.
