Message From The Editor

Grassroots and Gonzo

As I hope you've noticed, we are steering this newsletter in your direction. More stories from the docks and ports of Canada, more grassroots stories, more input from our loyal readers.

Our Photo of the Week is one area we're getting a gratifying response. Last week we featured a cute sailor dog and we were rewarded with some great pics of pooches who love powerboats - - a Silverton and Beneteau Swift Trawler specifically.Have a look at this week's Photos in the stories below.

Also this issue, we're going a bit rogue with some gonzo journalism. Our buddy John Gallaugher, who was an artist on Canadian Yachting many years ago and today works on a golf magazine (boo), is still a boating fanatic and has sent along a particularly crazy approach to being our CYOB reporter at the 37th St. Maarten Heineken Regatta.

In the weeks to come, we'll be adding more writers and hopefully, lots more input from YOU. Like I Heart My Boat. We still want your personal accounts so send those along via email. We got a really nice one that is a response in our CYOB Inbox. That's just below as well. Enjoy!

See ya in our next edition on March 23!
