Once you've completed a situation analysis, the next section of the marketing plan are your goals and objectives. A goal is a realistic, measurable statement of your business targets and intensions. For example, "I want sales to grow by 950%" is neither measurable (when?) nor realistic (wishful thinking). "Increase sales in 2014 by 2.3%" is a goal. It is measurable and realistic.

Canada's largest rooftop solar photovoltaic plant is now supplying enough electricity to power 60 homes for a year, offsetting 420 tons of greenhouse gas emissions, or the equivalent of planting over 25,000 trees. The project features 2,244 solar modules and 30 tons of steel tubing supplied by Atlas Tube and Polar Racking's rooftop ballasted mounting system.
