At last, they are coming out

Finally, now that we are putting the boats away for the season, we can get down to important matters like re-connecting with Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Walt, get the laundry done, visit the postage stamp museum and other important off season pursuits. Ten pins starts up soon!

Those nice drizzly days of November are just ahead; heck, the lucky folks in Calgary have already thrilled to 40cm of snow in just the first week of October. Less than a month ahead you can switch to your winter tires. Whoopee.

On the other hand, for those of you who already miss your boats, take heart. There's just 182 days until April 11.
