LED technology has changed the way we see and light the world. Almost all iconic locations are now illuminated. This time we could say connectivity and big data are driving the change, creating a profound shift in how new commercial lighting is evaluated, specified, and approved. Developers sought to stay true to the designs of the original architects. While the interior units were renovated to modern-day standards, how do we focus on restoring building exteriors, including brickwork and limestone pillars, to their former glory? Another new challenge with connectivity is cybersecurity. More in this issue. Good reading!
